Hsu: Why Smart Machines Will Take Us with Them

In a recent magazine article, Michigan State University Vice President Stephen Hsu theorizes that “Just as machines will be much smarter in 2050, we can expect that the humans who design, build, and program them will also be smarter.”

The article appeared in the Sept, 3, 2015, issue of the the science publication Nautilus.

Hsu, a physicist, is also a scientific adviser to BGI (formerly Beijing Genomics Institute) and is a member of its Cognitive Genomics Lab.
