Physics and Dance: Innovative Ways to Reach Students

A group of MSU researchers and outreach specialists have embarked on a special project to educate K-12 students in Michigan about the science behind the new Facility for Rare Isotope Beams at Michigan State. After attending a series of workshops, local teachers leverage embodied learning techniques to teach physics to their own students. A possible Phase II of this project includes a professional dance production to be hosted at the Wharton Center in conjunction with the FRIB grand opening in 2020.
