MSU Researchers Celebrate World Food Day, Oct. 16
2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. World Food Day – October 16 -was established by the Food and Agriculture’s member countries to raise awareness of the issues behind poverty and hunger. Since 1855, Michigan State University researchers have been working every day – throughout the state and across the world – to increase agricultural yields and safeguard food supplies. Here are a few of their success stories.
