MSU Scientists Honor World Water Day, Every Day
Twenty-four years ago, the United Nations General Assembly officially designated March 22 as World Water Day. But for more 160 years, researchers from Michigan State University have been been studying water and all of the topics related to water.
Today, a wide range of interdisciplinary research efforts are coordinated through the Michigan State University Water Science Network. Whether it is clean water for drinking, irrigation systems for crops, water-borne diseases, or invasive species that arrive through our water systems, MSU has had a global impact in solving these challenges.
