MSU’s Neighbors Named Mott Endowed Professor

Harold “Woody” Neighbors, Ph.D., was named a Charles Stewart Mott Endowed Professor of Public Health in Flint, Mich., on May 3, 2016. Neighbors has dedicated his career, including 30 years on the University of Michigan faculty, to studying how ethnic differences affect the mental and physical health of African-Americans, particularly in major depression, diabetes and oral health.
