Zhang Named 2017 NIH mHealth Scholar
Zhang’s research interests include ubiquitous computing, mobile sensing, wearable computing, embedded systems, pattern recognition, and applied machine learning. He is particularly interested in developing intelligent mobile sensing and ubiquitous computing technologies with a special focus on health care and medical applications.
This fits well with the research field referred to as Mobile Health (mHealth), which aims to realize the vision of patient-centric personalized health care. Prior to joining MSU, he was a postdoctoral associate at Cornell University.
