To assist MSU faculty in exploring foundation funding opportunities, the Office of Foundation Relations maintains a curated list of open funding opportunities on the Foundation Funding website.
Foundation Directory Online Professional
MSU researchers have access to an extensive database of foundation funders. The Foundation Directory Online Professional provides detailed profiles on over 228,000 private and corporate foundations, corporate giving programs, grantmaking public charities, and federal agency funders. Access is available to anyone with a current MSU NetID and password.

Grantmakers.io helps researchers find funding opportunities by providing access to data on U.S. grantmaking foundations, including foundation profiles and historical grant patterns, using IRS 990-PF filings.
