MSU Academic Software Development Needs Survey
Increasingly, scholarly activity in all disciplines depends on software and, sometimes, requires the development of new software tailored for novel work. The Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research is attempting to understand the MSU scholarly community’s needs for the development of expertise and services relating to academic software development. The goal is to identify actionable needs for services that can be provided by the university to accelerate the development of software to support scholarly activity. To that end, ICER is soliciting information from members of the community that develop academic software, or who need, or are considering using, such services.
If you or members of your team have developed, or are considering developing, any type of software in support of your scholarly work (including research, instruction, outreach, and related areas), please share your experiences by filling out this survey. The survey is limited to those with an MSU NetID (login to Google Workspace is required).
The deadline for completing the survey is Friday, October 27, 2023.
