Post Award Responsibilities: Matching and Effort Reporting
Stacy Salisbury is the awards group manager for Contract and Grant Administration (CGA). The awards group is responsible for taking new awards from the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and turning the awards into active accounts for PIs to use. Meghan Cartwright is the effort reporting contact within the awards group and works on Amendments that come through the post-award office and sends out the effort reports to faculty.
Stacy and Meghan will talk about how their office determines the effort that should be set-up on an account, how to view effort set-up over the life of a project and how to navigate the effort reporting portal. They will also discuss matching funds including MSU’s cost share policy, what reports can be pulled to view match that is set-up through effort and how this looks in account explorer.
