Since the foundation of the Interdisciplinary Research Forum program, networking events have taken place resulting in new research collaborations and funding. The Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation would like suggested topics for these programs to be suggested by faculty.
To propose a topic for consideration, approval and sponsorship by the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation, please complete and submit this form.
Once your proposal is approved, your responsibilities as host include:
- Confirm three to five speakers (each person will be limited to five minutes to present with no more than five slides per speaker) representing different aspects of the topic. These speakers should help drive the conversation for the remainder of the event.
- Provide a list of attendees to invite (at least 40 names). Our office will handle the invitations.
- Plan to assist as emcee of the event.
The Office of Research and Innovation will handle all logistics from securing the location, arranging for refreshments, invitations, and A/V equipment.
