University Relations, renamed Communications and Brand Strategy (CABS) in 2012, is the central communications office for Michigan State University.
Communications and Brand Strategy (CABS) produces university-level, brand-aligned marketing communications for print, web, and new media. We also assist units in developing strategies to align their communications with the university brand while meeting marketing objectives. They also write news releases, accompanied by photos, graphics, videos, and podcasts, and distribute them through online, print, and broadcast media—as well as directly through the MSU News site and the MSU News weekly e-mail.
