Interdisciplinary and interprofessional work between the artists, social scientists, and humanists, and basic and clinical scientists help researchers express and promote various dimensions of health and wellbeing. The goal of this interdisciplinary forum will be to connect researchers in the health sciences with humanities researchers who seek to enhance patient care, improve the quality and scope of research proposals, and strengthen education strategies for MSU students.
Join us in discussing how the humanities can situate medicine in its broader social context, help healthcare providers improve the delivery of healthcare, and enhance public understanding of the human response to disease.
These events are Co-Sponsored by the MSU Center for Interdisciplinarity. The MSU Center for Interdisciplinarity (C4I), located in the College of Arts & Letters, is an academic center of excellence for interdisciplinary activity. C4I works to maximize college and university strengths in interdisciplinary research and teaching and serve as a hub for interdisciplinary activity on campus.
