Sandy Wilkins is the new administrator for IACUC at MSU.

The Office of Regulatory Affairs and the Office of Research and Innovation are pleased to announce Sandy Wilkins as the new Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) Administrator. Sandy was appointed on October 4 and replaced Sally Light who has retired from MSU after serving as the IACUC director for more than 15 years.

Sandy brings extensive experience from her previous role as the IACUC research liaison (to faculty, students, and trainees) which she held for more than 15 years. She has been a national leader in promoting effective post-approval monitoring of animal research. Her IACUC knowledge, experience with researchers and their laboratories, and dedication to high quality animal care make her an asset to the program and a resource for the animal research community at MSU. Please welcome Sandy!
