Please join us on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Howell, MI, for the Henry Ford + MSU Cardiometabolic Health Strategy Summit.

This meeting will bring together researchers, clinicians, and health care professionals from Michigan State University and Henry Ford Health who are passionate about cardiometabolic health research, clinical care, and education.

Together we will identify coalescing/emerging strengths, challenges faced, and opportunities for investment that would support the cardiometabolic health research community.

Registration is required to participate in this meeting. Topic areas of focus will be chosen based on registration responses. 

What to Expect

During the Henry Ford + MSU Cardiometabolic Health Strategy Summit attendees can look forward to:

• Findings from Community Survey: Learn about the broader Henry Ford + MSU cardiometabolic health research and clinical communities and review initial findings from the community survey.
• Discussion & Working Groups: Engage in interactive conversations on key topics, challenges, and opportunities.
• Directly Inform Programs & Support: Recommend programming and opportunities for investment in cardiometabolic health research to the Henry Ford + MSU Cardiometabolic Health Planning Committee.
• Networking Opportunities: Connect with colleagues across institutions to explore potential collaborations.

Registration and Deadline

Registration will be capped based on space restrictions, first come first served.

At this time, only PIs/faculty/research investigators and clinicians (nurses included) are invited to this meeting. Other community members (trainees, technicians, fellows, students, admins, etc.) please look forward to future programming.

The deadline to register to participate in this meeting is Friday, June 6, 2025.
