This webinar focuses on the types of funding available to support research in the humanities and humanities-related social sciences. Presented by Nancy Holmes from Academic Research Funding Strategies, you will learn how to compete for grants from the NEH, NEA, private foundations, and grants to travel to collections and libraries. 

Presenter
Nancy Holmes received a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Communication from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Science in Conservation Social Science from the University of Idaho. After a decade as a park ranger, she worked as a social scientist at the U of I, conducting studies of national park visitors, then as a proposal development specialist in the U of I’s Office of Research. In her current role as a consultant with Academic Research Funding Strategies, she enjoys working with faculty across all disciplines, helping to find and apply for funding for their research and scholarly pursuits.
