The MSU Strategic Plan 2030 outlines several initiatives to support growth of the research enterprise and to increase research opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students. Preparing top talent for the jobs of tomorrow's economy aligns with MSU's tripartite mission of teaching, research and outreach, and training grants provide a unique tool for the support of such preparation. The Office of Research and Innovation and the College of Natural Science are pleased to sponsor this Summit to increase awareness of the resources available to support training grant proposal applications.
Do you have an idea for a training grant? Are you interested in leading a training grant project and preparing a grant proposal? Attend this summit to learn best practices from current and past training grant investigators and discover campus resources for submitting successful training grant applications. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide input on how MSU can best support successful training grant applications, and to express interest in preparing a proposal. The program will conclude with networking time.
