The new name better reflects the ongoing mission to support MSU’s innovative and expanding research enterprise and to enhance the success of MSU researchers.
ORRS is composed of eight regulatory teams including: Campus Animal Programs (CAR/IACUC), Conflict of Interest, Export Controls and Trade Sanctions (ECTS), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Human Research Protection Program (HRPP), Information and Communication Technology, Stem Cell Research and Administrative Management. ORRS is available to support faculty, students, and staff with their research regulatory needs so that they can conduct research that is safe, protects research subjects, and meets all local, state, and federal guidelines.
Over the next several weeks, campus users of ORRS services will notice the new name reflected on websites, email addresses, letterhead, and other communications.
ORRS thanks the campus research community for their support and looks forward to continued collaboration with MSU researchers and support staff.
