Taylor Named New IACUC Research Liaison

The Office of Regulatory Affairs and the Office of Research and Innovation are pleased to announce Matt Taylor as the new Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) Research Liaison. Matt was appointed on November 29 and replaces Sandy Wilkins who is now the IACUC Administrator. 

Matt brings extensive experience from his previous positions within academia and industry, which include IACUC administrator and post-approval monitor. He earned an MS in laboratory animal science and a BS in zoology and holds several certifications including the Certified Professional IACUC Administration (CPIA). He is a national leader in promoting effective post-approval monitoring of animal research. His IACUC knowledge, experience with researchers and their laboratories, and dedication to high quality animal care make him an asset to the program and a resource for the animal research community at MSU.
