Two researchers in the Michigan State University College of Engineering have been named Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy Early-Career Innovators and will receive $1 million for breakthrough transitions in clean energy.

Woongkul Lee, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Jinxing Li, assistant professor of biomedical engineering, are among 23 selected for the Inspiring Generations of New Innovators to Impact Technologies in Energy 2024 (IGNIITE 2024). The program focuses on early-career scientists and engineers converting disruptive ideas into impactful energy technologies.
