Eleven faculty and nine students from Michigan State University have been offered Fulbright awards for the 2025-26 academic year, supporting international research, teaching, and cultural exchange in 17 countries. These awards include prestigious Fulbright U.S. Scholar Awards and English Teaching Assistantships, enabling Spartans to make global contributions in fields ranging from astrophysics and education to public health and the arts.

Among the recipients are faculty members conducting research in Spain, Vietnam, South Africa, Turkey, and beyond, and students traveling to Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Italy. Each award reflects MSU’s ongoing commitment to global engagement and academic excellence.

MSU Interim Provost Thomas Jeitschko praised the recipients, stating, “MSU’s Fulbright scholars and students embody the university’s mission to address the world’s most pressing challenges and advance the greater good, locally and globally.”
