A strong NIH proposal starts with a strong Specific Aims page. Whether you're preparing your first NIH application or refining a resubmission, this workshop will help you develop a clear and compelling roadmap for your proposed research. Participants will receive feedback from peers and MSU Research Development Specialists to help them revise a draft of their Specific Aims page. Participants will be placed in small groups and will both give and receive feedback to improve their Specific Aims page with other participants in the workshop, as well as from Research Development Specialists Lauren Aerni-Flessner and Sara Steenrod. The feedback received will be discussed as a group.
Intended audience: MSU and HFH faculty and researchers preparing to apply for NIH funding. Participation is limited to a small group to ensure meaningful engagement and feedback.
