Overview
One Health is an integrated way of addressing health challenges shaped by connections among people, animals, plants, and the environments we share and that do not fit neatly inside any single discipline. MSU is building toward a university wide One Health Research Network that is expected to launch later in 2026. The Network will bring together MSU faculty, staff, and students who work on these coupled challenges, strengthening connections across the university and supporting collaborations that can help translate MSU’s research strengths into impact beyond the university.
This work builds on the recommendations of the 2025 One Health Research Taskforce recommendations. Review the One Team, One Health website from the president's office for more information.
Office Hours
Have questions about the sprint or the RFI as you prepare your submission? Join one of three open office hours sessions hosted by Dr. Patricia Soranno, who is leading the sprint through OR&I.
Each session will open with a brief overview of the sprint and the Request for Information process, followed by open Q&A. These are informal drop-in sessions, come with your questions, or just listen to what others are asking. Dr. Soranno will not be introducing new information beyond what is on this website, but she is happy to clarify, explain, and help you think through whether and how to participate.
All sessions are held via Zoom. No need to register, the same zoom link for each day/time. No need to attend more than one session unless you have further questions.
