Welcome to PAGM
The Office of Research and Innovation is excited to announce the launch of Post-Award Grant Management Unit (PAGM). We are launching this new shared services model for PAGM to support research administration efforts on campus in alignment with the 2030 strategic plan. This model is designed to support units that may need assistance with managing larger or complex Post-Award processes.
Projects PAGM Supports
- Multiple principle investigators (PI) across MSU
- Multiple subcontractors
- International collaborations
PAGM works collaboratively with academic units to ensure cohesive management of the principle investigator’s portfolio. During the encouraged quarterly meeting with PAGM, Academic Unit, and PI, we discuss all aspects of the PI's portfolio including effort allocations for themselves as well as their team.
Services that PAGM Supports
- Monthly reporting will be provided to the PI and any requested parties.
- Transactional support to include purchasing supplies/equipment and booking travel
- Human resource activities for student and temporary employees
- Quarterly meeting with PAGM, Academic unit and PI to ensure cohesive Post-Award administration across their portfolio with more frequent meetings being recommended for larger projects
