MSU PPMS Login Portal
PPMS (Stratocore’s Platform for Research Core Management) is Michigan State University’s online system for managing access to shared research Core Facilities, instrumentation, training, and services. Researchers and external collaborators can use PPMS to book shared research services, reserve equipment, and request training.
For MSU Researchers & Staff
Create an Account
- Go to the PPMS Login Portal.
- Select “Login with your Michigan State University credentials.”
- Sign in using your MSU NetID and password.
- Complete your profile information and submit the registration form.
- Select your lab/group from the dropdown menu.
- Add or request a financial account number if prompted.
Important:
If your lab/group is not listed, select “My group is NOT in this list” and submit the requested information so a group account can be created first.
Sign In
- Go to the PPMS Login Portal.
- Select “Login with your Michigan State University credentials.”
- Enter your MSU NetID and password.
For External Collaborators
Request an Account
- Go to the PPMS Login Portal.
- Select “Account creation request” at the top of the page.
- Complete the registration form and submit your request.
- Wait for approval and account setup instructions from the facility staff.
Sign In
- Go to the PPMS Login Portal.
- Select “Login with your PPMS credentials.”
- Enter your PPMS username and password.
