This annual conference is sponsored by the Michigan State University and the Big Ten Academic Alliance as a commitment to utilizing best practices and applications of Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) education.

Intended Audience

This free conference is open to any individuals involved in research at higher education institutions. It is targeted to research integrity practitioners, educators, administrators, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars.

All conference attendees are asked to review our Guidance for Conference Behavior and Creating Inclusive Spaces. Opinions expressed by the speakers and participants are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of their employer, Michigan State University, or the Big Ten Academic Alliance.

  • What do I need to know to attend this conference?
    • This is an interactive conference hosted all online and it requires electronic access. The main program used for the presentations will be Zoom.
  • What if I can only attend part of the conference?
    • We encourage you to attend all of the conference. However, we realize that life/work can get in the way of a virtual conference. If you are “hopping” in/out of the conference, the best way to do this is:
      • Keep Zoom open so that you have access to the “chat” window and polls.
      • Participate in the online forum.
      • Plenary Talks will be recorded and posted online after the conference.
  • Will this conference be recorded?
    • Yes, plenary talks and panel discussions from this conference will be recorded and archived videos will be posted online after the conference as an educational resource. Discussion exercises and break-out sessions will not be recorded or distributed, and an announcement will be made at the start of those sessions. By registering for the conference and participating in it, attendees will consent to being recorded. Further, attendees acknowledge that certain conference videos may be redistributed solely for non-commercial educational purposes.
