The Export Administration Regulations are issued by the United States Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry & Security (BIS) under laws relating to the control of certain exports, reexports, and activities. In addition, the EAR implement antiboycott law provisions requiring regulations to prohibit specified conduct by United States persons that has the effect of furthering or supporting boycotts fostered or imposed by a country against a country friendly to United States.

The American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM) is a specialty board recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) as the certifying organization for laboratory animal medicine, a recognized specialty within the veterinary medical profession. ACLAM was founded in 1957 to:

• encourage education, training, and research in laboratory animal medicine;
• establish standards of training and experience for veterinarians professionally involved with the care and health of laboratory animals; and
• recognize qualified persons in laboratory animal medicine, through certification examination and other means.

The Center for Advanced Microscopy is the central microscopy laboratory for the Michigan State University Campus. We provide MSU researchers with formal graduate level instruction and 24/7 access to scanning electron microscopes, transmission electron microscopes, and confocal laser scanning microscopes. We support all research disciplines including nanotechnology.
